A new-manager curriculum had to roll out to 47 distribution sites across nine countries in one quarter. Each site had translated the previous version differently; the brand was inconsistent, the layouts had drifted, and the regional VPs were each editing their own copy. Audit found four 'authoritative' versions in active use.
L&D rebuilt the programme around a single brief. The deck composed in MLtitude in the source language; regional trainers translated only the words, leaving the design locked. The companion 'manager briefing' document — a two-page leave-behind — was produced from the same brief in Docs. One source, two outputs, in nine languages.
Every site is on the same version. The translation cycle is hours, not weeks. Brand-and-comms stopped getting tickets about deck inconsistency.
